North Beach Bear Lake State Park

Swimmers will enjoy beautiful North Beach on the north end of the lake in St. Charles Idaho. The gradual slope of the lake bottom provides an enormous swimming area. Ramps are available for boaters and water skiers who want to enjoy the water, too. Day Pass Reservations are REQUIRED at North Beach.

• Swimming and Wading: Two-mile-long shoreline where a very gradual slope keeps the water shallow and safe for children.
• Beach Games: Take advantage of the wide, flat sandy stretches to play volleyball, cornhole, or catch. Set up your pop-up shade awnings, umbrellas, and chairs for a full day of sandcastle building and relaxing.
• Paddle Sport Rentals: Rent stand-up paddleboards or kayaks right on the beach via local concessions.
• Motorized Water Sports: Launch motorized watercraft and jet skis from the two on-site boat ramps.
• Lakeside Picnicking: Picnic tables and on-site charcoal grills for a beachside barbecue.
