Some historical homes and sites to explore in Paris, Idaho, include:
- J.R. Shepherd House: Situated at 58 West Center Street, this 1890 Queen Anne home is considered the largest and most architecturally exquisite in the city.
- Alfred Budge House: Located near N. 1st West and W. 1st North, this striking 1880 home is noted for its beautiful Second Empire styling and mansard roof.
- Thomas Sleight Cabin: Found at 163 South Main Street, this 1863 cabin is the last remaining structure of the roughly 30 cabins built by the area’s first vanguard pioneer company.
- Wives of Charles C. Rich Historic District: Located in the southwest corner of town, this area preserves a cluster of 1860s adobe brick cabins originally built for the plural wives of the town’s chief colonizer.
