Bear Lake Cisco Disco & Monster Polar Plunge

An event every year that begins at 7:00 am on of January, repeating indefinitely
Cisco Disco: Cisco fishing will start at sunrise at Cisco Beach on the East side of Bear Lake. Some dip nets will be available for public use (inquire at the entrance station). Locals will have hot chocolate, fried cisco, and scones available for the public to try. Donations are always welcome.
This will be the first year for the Monster Bait Fishing Contest! The first 49 contestants to register, can enter their largest Bonneville Cisco catch of the day for the chance to win some great prizes! Take your monster cisco to the State Park Marina between 11am and 1pm to be measured. Prizes will be handed out at 1pm. Must be present to claim your prize.
Monster Polar Plunge: Participants will need to register between 11am and 11:45am at the State Park Marina. The cost is $25 per jumper and includes a sweatshirt! All proceeds will be donated to Hopekids. Prizes will be given to best adult costume, best kid costume and the largest group taking the plunge! We also have a “local’s only prize”. The town (within Bear Lake and Rich Counties) with the most plungers wins a free day pass to Bear Lake State Park!
Chili Cook-off: Cooking may begin at 9am at the State Park Marina. Judging and tasting at 1pm. Prizes will be awarded to the winners!
