Cross Country Ski Trail in Bear Lake

Winter activities abound in the Bear Lake valley.

Visitors come from miles around to celebrate the beauty of winter and take advantage of the recreational opportunities it brings -- from skiing to snowboarding, ice fishing to snowmobiling.

The Bear Lake valley is fast becoming one of the most popular snowmobiling areas in the western United States, ranked third in 2001 by two major snowmobiling magazines. The area boasts 650 miles of groomed trails that includes portions of The Great Western Trail, a national trail that stretches from Mexico to Canada.

Just check out the links on the left to see every winter activity you can experience!
